Digital Video, Video Installation, 20 min., 2003, Autonmous Artwork
Serendipidy – A term which describes the pleasure to (almost) accidentally discover beauty is the central attribute to describe this work. The visualisations of traces of thoughts, observations, interpretations and opinions do stimulate, rather than conflict with, the pure pleasure to watch, to let the complexity of energy and information engage in its play with our consciousness.
The work celebrates the humble details of human life, of everyday things and gestures, revealling their grand beauty and complexity which we usually do not perceive and appreciate.
Sweet Surrender was shown, i.e. at the World Wide Video Festival in 2003 and at the Crossing Currents Exhibition in New Delhi, India
